Galatians - Don't miss the real Gospel

We know we need to authenticate someone asking for our bank details. We check that they are really a legitimate organisation and not a scam. If we are careful to check those who want our money, how much more careful should we be to check that a claim to be speaking for God is legitimate. Being right with the real God, and living as he calls us to, is the most important thing for a human being. But do we have a reliable message from God?

Paul wrote this letter to the Galatian Christians to help them avoid false “Gospels” and know the real Gospel, the real Good News from God. In this letter he explains the source of the real Gospel, the message of the real Gospel, and the way of life that flows from the real Gospel. Throughout the letter, we see how Jesus really is good news (gospel) for us, and are set free to follow him.
