Holiday Club re-lived

What do you get when you combine 3 days of creative crafts, engaging games, energetic singing and dramatised Bible stories? A successful holiday club!

Earlier this summer, led by a committed group of enthusiastic volunteers, Emmanuel Church hosted around 50 children over 3 days at the Unity Centre in Northstowe. The goal was to help parents in the early days of the summer holiday by providing their children with 3 free fun mornings of singing, playing, crafting and learning Bible stories. After a re-enacted telling of Jesus healing the blind man, one young child exclaimed, “That was the greatest story I ever heard!” 

We made some new friends and some great memories, and we pray there will be a long-lasting impact on the children’s lives. Lord willing, we will do it all again next year!
